The Task | 2015-Present: Rewire my life by returning to something that used to fuel my life. Get back into the ocean after years of absence and surf every single day for a year straight — through wind, rain, heavy waves, illness, and all else rearing up from the depths.

Write

The Task | 2015-2019: Quit my desk job and do what my younger self always wanted to but didn’t think she could make money at — writing. Live off of a paltry savings until I either make it or crawl back to my desk. Consume EVERYTHING I can about every form of writing, and learn how to get good — quickly.

The Result:

  • Front-page pieces in 50K+ circulation newspapers and magazines

  • 400+ search-optimized blog pieces, email copy, and web copy across industries

  • Co-wrote a speech delivered at a UN conference

The Task | 2021-Present: Tell an impactful story about a community maker by creating a far-reaching documentary film with a team of two: Director and Producer.
